The popular console has slimmed down and received a subtle design upgrade. A removable drive and a vertical stand are now available as optional accessories.
Sony has re-released the PlayStation 5 and introduced a Digital version of the console. It is lighter and thinner.
The console’s volume has been reduced by 30%. The weight of the standard version has decreased by 24% and the Digital version by 18% compared to the first PS5. The updated console weighs 2.6 kg, and with a disc drive—3.2 kg.
The storage capacity has increased from 825 GB to 1 TB. A removable disc drive can be connected to the Digital version, which can be purchased for $80 (8,000 rubles).
Increased performance, additional features, and updated controllers are things that users of the new PS5 will not see. The design of the console has slightly changed, such as a stripe appearing on the side, dividing the white panel into two parts. The new PS5 comes with a horizontal stand. A vertical stand can be purchased for $30.
Prices:
- PlayStation 5 Digital Edition: $450 (45,000 rubles)
- PlayStation 5 with disc drive: $500 (50,000 rubles)
