A large number of models of quiet computer mice are presented on the market, and the Hi-Tech Mail edition selected the most interesting wireless options.
If you do not like key rattling and prefer to work, learn, or do other things in silence, then silent computer mice are the gadget you need. As a rule, such devices do not look so unusual and bright compared to game mice, but they allow you to focus on business and not give your neighbors your activity at the computer.
Logitech MX Master 3S
Logitech MX Master 3S—modern mouse for home and office. It has an ergonomic shape with a thumb accent and lies comfortably in the hand.
The device connects via a wireless network via Bluetooth or is included in the USB adapter and supports working with three devices at the same time. You can configure the sensor parameters, set custom gesture control elements, and reassign buttons using the configuration software. Logitech MX Master 3S is equipped with two independent wheels: for horizontal and vertical scrolling. The vertical wheel can switch from a more accurate scroll mode to a quick free scroll mode if you need to quickly crumble.
The model continues the popular productive MX Master line from Logitech while maintaining an ergonomic shape and a set of functions, but with several improvements. This version received a new click mechanism, which became 90% quieter than its predecessor, and a modernized sensor with a resolution of 8K DPI, which allows you to comfortably move the mouse even over several displays with a resolution of 4K. The sound slag does not affect the clarity of pressing—it remains the same as before. The new Logitech BOLT adapter promises improved performance in overloaded wireless environments and reliable protection compared to the old Unifying USB adapter used in previous MX Master models.
Developers promise that the built-in battery provides up to 70 days of use at full charge, and the minute of charging gives 3 hours of autonomous operation.
Logitech Signature M650
Logitech Signature M650 is a compact, narrow mouse that is 90% quieter than previous devices in this lineup. It is delivered in two sizes—ffor a standard and large hand; there are also models for left-handed and right-handed. Plastic parts are partially made of recycled plastic.
Logitech Signature M650 implements the SmartWheel function, which allows you to switch between the maximum precision mode and the quick scroll mode. Razer Pro Click Mini
Razer Pro Click Mini, at first glance, resembles a pretty but quite ordinary office computer mouse. However, Razer, which had a hand in developing responsive and accurate game mice, offered an interesting novelty that was perfect not only for work but also for games.
The compact, silent device received seven buttons programmable using Synapse brand software, a three-functional scroll wheel, and an Razer 5G 12,000 DPI optical sensor. Razer Pro Click Mini supports connection to four devices without the need to reconnect. Razer HyperSpeed Wireless’s wireless gaming technology provides quick response and high mouse accuracy.
Razer Pro Click Mini uses Razer silent mechanical switches that provide quiet and enjoyable tactile returns. Only one AA battery is required for operation, making the mouse seem weightless. But you can insert two batteries, and then when connected via Bluetooth, the device will work up to 725 hours, and when using the USB adapter — up to 465 hours.
Logitech M330 SIlent Plus
Logitech M330 SIlent Plus — this is the case when low cost is not achieved to the detriment of quality. The manufacturing company removed most of the functions from the device, retaining one important advantage— almost silent button pressing. If we compare with the previously listed models, then here the sound of the buttons is heard a little more. Tactile return is quite comfortable.
Logitech M330 SIlent Plus is a small but very reliable device that does not have programmable buttons and high DPI (M330 has 1000). Connects to the computer immediately without requiring the installation of drivers. Supports Logitech Unifying technology, which allows you to connect up to 10 devices to one 2.4 GHz USB receiver. Supports Windows, macOS, and Linux; runs on Chromebook.
The manufacturer declares up to 18 months of autonomous operation of the device without replacing batteries.
TeckNet Pro
TeckNet Pro is another quietly working budget device in which there is nothing superfluous.
Unlike M330, TeckNet Pro is equipped with six buttons and 2600 DPI with five adjustment levels (2600/2000/1600/1200/800), which can be switched manually. Despite its modest size, the mouse lies well in the hand. To pair with a computer running Windows or ChromeOS, a 2.4 GHz USB adapter is required, but it will not work on Mac computers.
TeckNet Pro is hard to call a completely silent device, but pressing the buttons is barely audible, and to notice the rotation of the scroll wheel, you need to listen very carefully. According to the manufacturer, two AA batteries should be enough for 24 months of autonomous mouse operation.
